The QSS-37 Series are high performance, silver halide digital printers designed with advanced features for maximum productivity and revenue. Capabilities include a high volume print capacity of up to 2,360 prints per hour (4”x6”) and a wide array of print sizes up to 12” x 36”.
Using built-in AccuSmart™ image processing technology from Noritsu, powerful image optimization and correction functions ensure the highest quality photo output. Efficiency has been enhanced, with setup times reduced 67% compared to previous models. The versatile QSS-37 Series printers are also configurable as traditional minilabs with the addition of optional EZLab™ software.
High quality print engine
A laser engine is used for the QSS-37 series to produce vivid, high quality silver halide prints of 300dpi.
“AccuSmart™” image processing technology employed
Noritsu Koki’s AccuSmart™ technology enables you to easily portray the natural beauty of the scene as viewed by the photographer when the picture is taken. This advanced technology not only provides superb quality for well photographed images, it also applies appropriate correction to less-than-perfect shots, resulting in extremely high quality prints regardless of the image source.
A selection of new film scanners to choose from (film scanners sold separately)
With the QSS-37 series, you have three new film scanners to choose from. The HS-1800 supports a wide variety of film including 120, and the LS-600 (600 frames/hr) / LS-1100 (1,200 frames/hr) support only 135 and IX240 film. You can also choose not to add a scanner, and instead use the QSS-37 system as a stand-alone printer.
New operation software “EZ Controller” (sold separately)
The EZ Controller gives you the ability to easily perform many important functions such as PJP, value-added print creation, order management, and image correction. Furthermore, pictures are used to explain many of the instructions for start up checks and shut down checks, and warning messages are easy
to locate and read.
Setup prints taken care of automatically
The colorimeter is built into the processor. This enables the setup print to be automatically inserted into the colorimeter after it comes out of the dryer unit, eliminating the need for manual operations. Also, the QSS-37 series has a new option called the “Control Strip Auto Loading Unit” that automatically processes control strips.
Interrupted orders signified by LED lamp
LED lamps (Standard) on the order sorter are used to indicate which orders have been interrupted and which print trays the interrupted orders are in. Furthermore an order sorter for wide prints (up to 10 inches) is available for the QSS-3704. NoteThe 10-inch order sorter does not support the above-mentioned LED lamp function.
Rapid processing
In addition to the wide variety of chemicals supported with other QSS models, the QSS-37 series also support rapid processing using CP-49E (Fujifilm). This enables you to reduce the time it takes for the first print to be output, and thereby provide a high quality one-stop print service where the customers can place their order and pick up their prints in the same visit. Rapid processing is a standard feature with the QSS-3705, so this model only supports CP-49E (Fujifilm) /EC1 (FujiHunt) chemicals. Note: Only specified paper can be used with each type of chemical.
Prints up to 914.4mm (36 inches) long
The maximum paper width is 305mm (12 inches) and the maximum paper advance length is 914.4mm (36 inches), making it possible to provide a wide variety of print services.
Triple/Quad Magazines (Factory option)
The triple and quad magazine systems enable labs that make various size prints to set multiple paper sizes at the same time. Magazine changes are quick and easy.
An array of options
The QSS-37 series supports the MD-2 Unit, Bravo™ II/Rimage™ CD writers, DVD writing and many other options to provide a scalable system that allows you to add new services as needed.
